He can create his own shot off the dribble and get by any defender with his lightning quick first step.  As a point guard, Braithwaite prides himself on his ability to lead the team; whether it’s finding an open player, taking on scoring responsibilities or motivating his teammates.

Braithwaite attended Madison Park High school and led the Cardinals to two consecutive Boston City Championships, one Eastern Sectional title Division and 1 South Sectional finals. With the Cardinals he was named team MVP, two-time city league all-star and all-state honors, (2008-10) was selected to the Boston Herald’s “Dream Team”.

Braithwaite furthered his basketball career at Massasoit Community College and led his team to a Division Title where he was named the tournament’s MVP, and All-New England selection (2010-11).

After a great year Braithwaite landed a scholarship and starting point guard position with Division 2 College American international (2011 - 2014). Braithwaite would go on to lead the Yellow Jackets in scoring as a sophomore, and become a recipient of the teams Bob Cousy Award three consecutive years.
